Yumemi is a fifth-grade elementary school student who loves books. The owner of the Starfall Bookstore in Shiori Town is the person she admires.

One day, she discovers that the children’s book corner at Starfall Bookstore connects to the world inside the books.

The cafe “The Secret Garden,” run by the master of romance novels, Montgomery, is full of convenient items for love. There are story dresses that let you follow the same fate as a heroine, and a hand mirror that can tell the fortune of your romance through a bookshelf reflected in its glass.

However, there is also plenty of trouble, with villains from classic literature jumping out and her beloved person being kidnapped by a mean-spirited heroine. While being helped by famous children’s literature authors like Montgomery and Kästner, Yumemi, along with her best friends, works as “Team Literary Girl” to solve the incidents occurring in the world of books.
