Chapter 4: You Must Never Anger the Reincarnated Young Lady!
Eliana continued staring coldly at the women who had insulted the viscount house.
Ice began spreading from beneath Eliana’s feet.
The floor froze, and the walls were gradually covered in frost.
Everyone inside the guild had their feet frozen in ice and could not move.
Adventurers especially could feel the overwhelming pressure of Eliana’s magical power.
No one dared to speak.
Eliana slowly stepped forward.
“Tell me.”
“Who do you think you are?”
“Whether a noble house continues to exist or not is something His Majesty decides.”
“Are you perhaps higher in status than His Majesty?”
“You will take responsibility for insulting the viscount house.”
Several ice arrows appeared floating around Eliana.
The arrowheads were pointed toward the women.
The women collapsed to the ground, unable to move their frozen feet.
However, the arrowheads adjusted and continued pointing directly at them.
Not only the women, but everyone nearby had turned pale.
“That’s enough, Lady Eliana.”
Cedric spoke to her.
“If you harm them, your parents will be saddened.”
“They would not be saddened because you hurt these women.”
“They would be saddened because you would be hurting yourself.”
Eliana slowly turned her gaze toward Cedric.
“If you hurt someone in anger, you will surely regret it later.”
“You are a kind person.”
“You fought for the sake of your house.”
“But would your parents be happy to see you regret your actions afterward?”
Eliana remained silent as her magic disappeared.
Cedric gently embraced Eliana and patted her back.
“This situation happened because I failed to respond properly.”
“The responsibility lies entirely with me.”
Cedric looked into Eliana’s face.
“Lady Eliana, I am sorry.”
Cedric apologized sincerely.
Eliana shook her head.
“It’s alright.”
“I just care deeply about the viscount house.”
“I know I went too far.”
Eliana lowered her head and hugged Cedric.
Cedric gently stroked her back and waited for her emotions to settle.
Everyone around them was still unable to move.
“What is going on here!”
A voice came from the second floor.
The man looked toward the center of the disturbance and saw Eliana.
He then glanced around at the frozen guild and immediately understood the situation.
“Seriously…”
“Who the hell made Eliana angry?”
He sighed deeply.
Seeing him, the adventurers hurriedly bowed their heads.
It was the guild master, Erland.
He was an active SS-rank adventurer.
“Ellie.”
“Explain the situation.”
Erland called to Ellie at the reception desk.
“I will report.”
“Lady Eliana and Lord Cedric arrived at the guild together.”
“I jokingly asked if they had become engaged.”
“Lord Cedric then announced that they were indeed engaged.”
“The women sitting over there pushed Lady Eliana and began insulting her in front of Lord Cedric.”
“They also insulted the viscount house.”
“That angered Lady Eliana and resulted in the current situation.”
Erland sighed deeply once again.
“You women over there.”
“Even if all of you attacked together, you wouldn’t be able to scratch Eliana.”
“In fact, she could kill you instantly with a single finger.”
“If you don’t want to die, then keep your hands and your mouths away from Eliana.”
“Honestly…”
“Don’t provoke Eliana.”
He sighed for the third time.
“You’ve all been overwhelmed by Eliana’s magic.”
“None of you are useful today.”
“The guild is closed for the day.”
“All of you go home immediately.”
“And you women over there are banned from the guild for six months.”
“Get out.”
Erland then turned toward Eliana.
He crossed his arms and spoke.
“You had some business here today, right?”
“Let’s hear it.”
Eliana glanced once at Cedric before answering the guild master.
“I came to complete the procedures for entering a dungeon.”
“I was going to form a party with Lord Cedric.”
“I’m sorry for causing so much trouble in the guild.”
Eliana bowed her head in apology.
Erland laughed and lightly patted Eliana’s head.
“You just responded to a fight that was picked with you.”
“They were the idiots for provoking you.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
Erland then looked at Cedric.
“You’re the heir of the ducal house, right?”
“If you become engaged to Eliana, does that mean you’re leaving the ducal family?”
Cedric answered without hesitation.
“If I can become engaged to Lady Eliana, leaving the ducal house means nothing to me.”
Erland seemed to like Cedric’s answer.
He slapped Cedric on the shoulder.
“You two.”
“Come upstairs.”
Eliana and Cedric followed behind Erland.
They entered the guild master’s office and were invited to sit on the sofa.
The two sat side by side while the master sat across from them.
“So you two want to enter a dungeon?”
Erland asked.
Eliana answered.
“There haven’t been any high-level subjugation requests lately.”
“So I thought about earning money by exploring a dungeon.”
“But solo adventurers can’t enter dungeons.”
“So when I mentioned it, Lord Cedric said he also wanted to explore one.”
“That’s why we decided to form a party.”
Erland listened and then asked a question.
“So you got engaged just to form a party?”
Cedric immediately protested.
“That’s not true!”
“I have admired Lady Eliana for a long time.”
“I finally gathered the courage to speak to her because of the dungeon.”
“Lady Eliana is incredibly beautiful and kind.”
“I felt that I had to propose as soon as possible.”
Erland nodded while listening.
“Hmm.”
“So Lord Cedric fulfilled his love and became engaged.”
“And Eliana gained both a fiancé and the chance to explore a dungeon.”
“Hmm…”
“However, while Lord Cedric meets the requirements to enter a dungeon…”
“Eliana does not.”
“So permission cannot be granted.”
“I thought adventurers could enter as long as they weren’t solo…”
Eliana looked shocked by the answer.
“What requirement is she missing?”
Cedric asked in her place since Eliana looked stunned.
“Fifteen is considered adulthood only for commoners.”
“They need to make a living.”
“But nobles must wait until they are sixteen.”
“That is the age they enter the academy.”
“Only then are they allowed to enter dungeons.”
Eliana became even more depressed.
She lowered her head and refused to look up.
Cedric gently placed his hand on her back.
“However…”
“I can grant special permission.”
Eliana immediately raised her head and looked at Erland.
“If you become S-rank, age doesn’t matter.”
“So, Eliana.”
“What will you do?”
Cedric looked confused and turned toward Eliana.
Their eyes met briefly before Eliana quickly looked away.
Cedric gently held Eliana’s face with both hands and turned her toward him.
“Lady Eliana.”
“What are you hiding?”
Eliana avoided his gaze even though he held her face.
“If you don’t tell me, I’ll ask Mr. Erland instead.”
“And if you still refuse, I won’t go to the dungeon with you.”
Eliana quickly returned her gaze to Cedric.
“I can become S-rank immediately…”
Cedric released her face and listened seriously.
“When I was fourteen, I accepted a solo request to defeat an S-class monster.”
“I wanted to test my abilities.”
“The guild master accompanied me just in case.”
“The target was a salamander.”
“Since ice magic is my strongest element, I was able to defeat it.”
Eliana explained honestly.
“She defeated an S-class monster solo.”
“I tried to promote her to S-rank immediately.”
“But she refused.”
“She said she didn’t want to stand out.”
Erland added.
Cedric immediately understood.
Eliana had hidden the fact that she was a reincarnated person.
If she became S-rank, high-ranking nobles would notice her for entirely different reasons.
“Now everything makes sense.”
“Lady Eliana dislikes standing out.”
Cedric accepted it easily.
“I suppose I will also have to work hard to reach S-rank.”
Erland looked surprised.
“You’re not bothered that she’s a wild girl capable of becoming S-rank?”
“She’s a noble lady.”
It was a reasonable question for a noble.
Noble ladies were expected to be elegant.
Being A-rank as an adventurer added prestige.
But anything beyond that was often disliked.
“For me, it doesn’t matter what she is.”
“As long as she is Lady Eliana.”
“Being able to stay by her side is enough.”
“Everything else is irrelevant.”
Cedric said this while looking at Eliana.
No matter what kind of person she was…
Those words filled Eliana’s heart with a happiness she had never experienced before.
“Thank you, Lord Cedric.”
Eliana turned to the guild master.
“I want to become S-rank.”
“I want to explore the dungeon together with Lord Cedric.”
“It will definitely be fun!”
Eliana showed a dazzling smile.
Both the guild master and Cedric were captivated.
As expected of the Fairy Princess…
The guild master was the first to recover his senses.
“Eliana will become S-rank starting today.”
“However, this will not be publicly announced until she enters the academy.”
“The only ones who will know are me, Lord Cedric, and Ellie.”
“I will assign Ellie as Eliana’s exclusive receptionist.”
“That way she can accept requests without anyone finding out.”
“Ellie is very good at keeping secrets.”
“As for the king…”
“I will report it to him.”
“But we will ask him to keep it confidential.”
“She is the youngest S-rank.”
“I don’t want to lose her, so he will surely keep the promise.”
“Eliana.”
“You must explain everything to your parents.”
“If you’re getting engaged, it’s up to you how you handle the ducal family.”
“Come back tomorrow.”
“I will give you the dungeon permit card then.”
“Both of you come together.”
They nodded and decided to return the next day.
The guild’s first floor was empty.
The two left the guild while holding hands.
“I’m getting hungry.”
“Shall we have lunch and explore the town?”
Cedric suggested.
Eliana agreed, and the two headed into town together.
Eliana was extremely excited that she would finally be able to explore a dungeon tomorrow.
